How tile care differs
Rejuvenation is for asphalt. Tile is a different material with a different problem. Concrete tile in particular is porous: it soaks up water, grows algae and fades as the surface wears. Clay is tougher, though it too picks up stains and growth over time.
We clean tile gently, without the high pressure that can crack tiles or wear away their surface, then apply a clear sealer that helps the tile shed water and resist staining. The look is fresher, not glossy, and the tile keeps its natural colour.
Signs your tile needs attention
Look out for:
- Dark staining or green growth on the tiles.
- Colour that has gone patchy or faded.
- Tiles that stay darker for a long time after rain.
- Debris collecting in valleys and along ridges.
- A roof that has not been cleaned in several years.

Inspect
We walk carefully and note any cracked or loose tiles before cleaning.
Clean
The roof is cleaned gently and left to dry fully.
Seal
A clear sealer goes on in good weather, and we check the coverage before leaving.
Walking on tile
Tile can crack underfoot if walked on carelessly. Our crews step where tiles are supported and use pads where needed. Any tile that is already broken gets pointed out to you before work begins, so there is no confusion about what was there before we arrived.
What sets the price
Roof area, tile type and how much cleaning is needed before sealing. Concrete tile with years of growth takes longer than clay that only needs a light clean. Cracked tiles found during the inspection are noted separately rather than folded into the price. You get the figure after we have looked at the roof, and that figure is the one you pay. If the roof only needs cleaning for now, we can price that alone and leave sealing for later.

- Do you replace broken tiles?
- We flag them. Replacement is usually a job for a tile roofer.
- Does sealing change the colour?
- No. It is a clear sealer. The tile may look slightly fresher.
- Do you treat metal roofs?
- No. Our work is limited to asphalt shingle and tile roofs.
